Jemdo Capture Studio is a companion tool for USB capture cards, providing the following features:

• Video signal preview (supporting multiple resolutions and frame rates)
• Screenshots and video recording (supporting multiple encoding formats)
• GIF creation
• Silent instant replay and AI highlight detection
• Audio passthrough and monitoring

The App is available on macOS, iPad, Android, and Windows. Features may vary by platform.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control. This license does not permit you to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Modify, translate the App, or create derivative works based on the App.
• Rent, lend, sell, sublicense, or distribute the App in any way.
• Copy the App's framework or design for use in other products.

3. User Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not use the App to record, capture, or distribute any content that infringes on others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Not use the App to record or distribute illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Take full responsibility for all content recorded and produced using the App.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its related content (including but not limited to software code, interface design, icons, trademarks, and documentation) belong to **Jemdo**. Content you record and create using the App belongs to you. The App uses certain open-source software components; please refer to the open-source license notices within the App for details.

5. Beta Features

Features marked as "Beta" in the App (such as AI highlight detection) are still in testing and may be unstable. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or continued availability of Beta features.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to:

• That the App will operate without interruption or error.
• That the App is compatible with all capture card hardware.
• The integrity or quality of recorded files.
• The accuracy of AI highlight detection.

Since video capture involves hardware compatibility and system resources, actual performance may vary depending on your device and capture card model.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, **Jemdo** and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to:

• Loss or corruption of recorded files.
• Device performance issues.
• Compatibility issues with third-party hardware.

8. Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any or all features of the App at any time without prior notice. The App is free software, and we do not guarantee permanent maintenance or update services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Modified terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Shenzhen. For users outside mainland China, local mandatory legal provisions shall prevail where applicable.

PRO Version Terms

Jemdo Capture Studio offers PRO version premium features. The following terms apply to the licensing and use of the PRO version:

• Users who purchase Jemdo branded hardware (such as Jemdo capture cards) are entitled to use all PRO version features free of charge for at least one year from the date the hardware first activates the software.
• Jemdo reserves the right to adjust the scope of PRO version licensing, feature offerings, and pricing after the free period ends. Users will be notified in advance, and a reasonable transition plan will be provided.
• The free PRO usage period starts from the date the hardware first activates the software, regardless of the hardware purchase date. The activation time is determined by server records.
